but rumour has it that Little big planet could be delayed by upto 3 weeks due to a discrepency over one of the "african song"
What i've hear dis one of the african words in the said song, is pottentially offensive to some minute religion, and Sony may be completely withdrawign the game to correct this

Actually, its official. LittleBIGPlanet has been delayed because one of the background songs contains quotes from the Qur'an! It will now be released the 27 of October in the USA.

What a joke! It contains only TWO lines from the Qur'an and only ONE of the Muslim gamers that have played the beta have found it offensive. The rest of the Muslim gamers have said that they don't find it offensive in any way..........

These are the lines from the song: "Every soul shall have the taste of death" and "All that is on Earth will perish." According to the offended Muslim gamer, it is offensive to mix music with the words of the Qur'an. What ISN'T offensive to Islam?

The funny thing is, they can alter the inner game easily with patches.,

There's only 1 song in question, So couldnt a patch disable that one song ?

What I find amusing is that the song in question has been going around the net for so long without attracting any attention and as far as I'm concerned the song is actually pro-Muslim!

A patch was Media Molecule's immediate solution but Sony opted to simply replace all existing game discs. I guess Sony will not risk been sued by oversensitive Muslims.

The release date remains 27 of October for the US but for the rest of the world is the 14 of November. However, I just visited the Australian EB Games web site and the release date still is the 23 of October.......

Sont have announced it, so then theres the usual delay of waiting for the dispatch centres to get official confirmation before passing it on to head-offices and so onto Stores, Magazines, Web-sites, etc.

Still annoying, I cant understand why they didnt just go for the Patch solutution especially with Fable 2 out same day and the news of the online co-op patch being ready for that,

Just feel like Sony have shot there console Sales in the foot somewhat.
