Re: Saints Row 2
Anyone pick this up? I'm on the fence about it right now, on one hand I'm hearing that is is basically San Andreas 2 and better than GTA IV but I'm hearing some people saying that it's not that great. Any opinions here?

Re: Saints Row 2
I picked it up this morning, about to play it now But I've found Eurogamer Reviews to be pretty spot-on for my personal preferences, and they've given it a 9/10.
From all the other reviews I've red it is basically,
GTA SA 2, Not as technically advanced as GTA IV, But a hell of alot more fun.
In short, if you like Open world games, then get it.
and if that hasnt made your miond up Look below (UFOOOOOO)
Anyone who does get it..............
here are the unlock codes for the UFO (via game registration)
the Pee-wee mini bike & a giro-copter....
D-Stroy U.F.O - #728237
peewee mini bike - #7266837
Gyro daddy Copter - #4976
Codes need ot be enteredat the cheat menu (when paused) and include the #'s

Re: Saints Row 2
Cheers Obie, I read the EuroGamer review, seemed pretty good from what they are saying.
Chuck some impressions on here after you've played it a bit.

Re: Saints Row 2
Well I've only had about an hour so far.
And from everything i've played it all seems great, (and thats without touching the online co-op or multiplayer)
I spent 30 minutes driving around in a septic truck spraying shit all over houses (to lower estate prices (((obviously)) and spraying police, fbi, swat vans, for the hell of it.
then spent another 15 minutes trying loads of Phone codes I found (only to realise 10 minute slater they where for Saints row 1
Gameplay wise, it feels very, very similar to GTA SA.
I was saying to gameseeks manager that If GTA San Andreas rules the world, GTA IV would have possibly been much more like this.
I've notice dno bugs, Ai is a little dumb, But when your often faced with 10, 20 police officers or 10-15 cars.vans chasing you the challenge comes more in numbers, than individual danger.
Customisation is Massive,
you can do-up your cars, Cribs (house/appartments ) and there looks like theres loads of options for your character, and for once, female characters seem to have more customisation options than a bloke.
It's all very "Free" while I ende dup goign with your average Gansta Guy,
I was very tempted to make a bodybuilder (but with Tits) and a "woman Pimp" walk which can only be described as a mix between a hooker & your everyday 90's PIMP.
I spent a good 5-10 minute slaughing whilke creating my character purely because it lets you do whatever you want.
But that pretty much sums up the game,
After the first few missions, you can do what you want, when you want, where you want,
and like Saints row 1,, theres loads of Activities, "insurance fraud was always one of the best" where you throw yourself in front of a car, Bus, Train, to create an insurance claim,
All of which can now be done in Co-op ((and yes, you can pick push/throw your friend infront of a train (accidentally of course)
Well thats pretty much all i've got time to write now,
a friend from my local game is joinin me for some co-op tonight, so untill then (and after) I'm gonna play some fifa with y'all
