Use the radar

Post  adwan on Mon Oct 06, 2008 2:09 pm

Quite simply, use your radar to help when passing to your team mates.

Have a look at the players position and any defenders around them. If a guy is free on the opposite side of the field and in acres of space, try and switch it quickly to that side, either on the ground or with a lobbed pass.

Out of everyone I gotta say I'm forced ot use the Radar the most,

being a sole striker I'm usually left up front while we're defending or even in midfield trying to sit nicely on the defensive line and trying to make well timed runs to beat the defense.,

It gets annoying when I make a big run and get nothin, But hey, maybe the runs aren't as clear to others as they are me Wink

I would like to see our midfield paying abit closer attention though, and at least trying a few more through balls, because i'd like to see how well a well timed run affects the outcome especially against a fully human defense.

Definately, the through ball can work wonders, especially the chipped through ball to Drogba (Like I've done on numerous occasions Razz ) because he has the strength to out josstle the defenders.

Tele is definately the wise choice. With the be a pro camera you can sometimes miss action to the left and right sides of you, it also makes it extremely difficult to pass sideways as you can only see infront of you.
With tele, the radar is your best mate to be fair, allowing you to see that your occupying the correct position on the field, it really is a must. I do believe the be a pro camera has it's perks though, especially playing in defence it allows you to make sure no one beats the offside trap as this can be a bit difficult with the tele camera, but I find it a bit laggy to be honest.
