no worries ppl,

hobdal i wanna try you at RB tonight and see how you go as your deff one of our more regular players both here and on Fifa.
But if you think your upto the challenge there may be a space in midfield

I have no problem with RB or a midfield role. If I am in the MF then I will make sure I do my bit at both ends of the field.

On question about the full backs though, how do you want them to play? Strictly a defensive "get the ball and get it out asap" or do you want them to be attacking and helping the wingers out?

Great night tonight people.

Firstly we have lost a fe wplayers, Tommydaone has again left the club, This time becaus ehe feels the grass is greener joining ChelseaSam's team (another member who left yesterday)
This time though, as explained afte rtommy's last venture,
He or any others Leaving the club will not be allowed to return
(So if the grass is greener, make bloody sure it's not just the lighting)

Also tonight, Fight4fun has gone (with a nice size ten boot up his ass)
After pissing off just abotu everyone with his "I am and I know best" attitude, I finalyl decided to give him the boot

As for matches, We've played a fair few.
3 defeats, (2 by forfeit)
and I think 9 wins (3 by forfeit)
I cant recall, but I think we had 1 draw.

All player splayed well, There was the odd time when people got greedy, didnt pass, or got creative with there time on the ball, But these times where limited to late in the game when we had a comfortable lead,
so who blames em Wink

Yeah it was a good effort.
I saw one defeat when i was there, but i'm glad the fight issue was resolved that way...he really was getting me pissed off. If people make a mistake or have one off game he thinks they are shit, and he wont let up, he may be good (but dare I mention his professed great scoring rate and assists were less than mine...Pah.) but an attitude like that isn't needed.
Good effort everyone else though, and some nice goals Obie...

Was very good last night, I quite enjoyed LM and thought I was playing all right. Don't think we'll be able to play tonight, the PSN is down from 8pm - 2am I believe, or maybe it's 7pm - 1am, can't remember.

Yeah, I actually seen that just a few minutes after my post. I'm guessing it's business as usual tonight? Did you guys get any games in last night before the down time? Go well?

Why is it that I seem to be missing the good matches and only play in the matches we seem to struggle in?

Is this trying to tell me something? I didn't think I sucked that bad! Sad

I don't think I'll be on tonight, got loads of stuff to do for college. Sorry I haven't been on much this last week, by next week I'll get on for at least a few games each night.

Re: Match Day Results

Well, last night i was on fire! lol I felt I had really good games, as did the whole of the team. Everything seemed to click. Passing and movement was great, finishing was awesome, and the defending was just unbeatable!

Unfortunately I was only on for 4/5 games (can't remember how many), and then I had to go. Was a shame cos I was really enjoying myself! I think I've got the RM position sussed. So guys get me the ball when i'm in space and I'll get the crosses in! Razz

Anyways, how did the rest of the night go? Someone please enlighten me! Laughing

Oh, Obie, lets get this thread going properly! Get a pen and pad and write down each nights results, and goalscoreres if you can, and get them posted on here the next day! I'll try and do the same. Very Happy

Re: Match Day Results

Well the night had a slight hickup with a few bad results.
But on one I insisted on a new tactic... Everytime Anyone got the ball, Whack a through ball upto Drogba, for ALL of the first half,
while we went 1-0 down, it was a good test, created some good chances, and started the evolution.,
Because after losing that match, things turned around, The Long & early thorugh balls where of a far better quality, And every match after that had at least one goal created form a logn through ball with either myself or a follow-up midfielder getting the score.

But for the last hour it was left to me, Lipu & mmt-zucker.

And we kicked some ass.

the closest game was the last of the night against very tough opponents, And it was decided by a single goal around the half-way mark.
It was a memorable goal with a through ball giving Drogba (me) a nice run, after taking it round the last 3 defenders it only took a careful slot past the keeper to give us the win.

Overall though there was great understanding.
And a brilliant finish to the night.

We really did kick some ass.
I liked when the clearance came up and i headed to you, you headed it back and i slipped it through and then you lobbed the keeper, that was good interplay and a nice finish.
We seemed to play quite well when we were used to what each other were going to do/try.
The movement was much better. And I agree we should start keeping account of match scores etc.
I know how many goals and assists I have so far though lol!!!
