Far Cry 2 - 24th Oct Release

Who's getting this next Friday? I know I will be. Just watched a video for the map editor and OMG it looks bloody awesome! Free roaming single player that is unscripted should be amazing!

For sure.

Farcry (pc) instincts & predator (console) are by far some of my most played games.

not sure why but theres something fun about crawling through the bush's, and steadily taking people out with precise headshots, before getting bored wiping out half an army only for the angry few remaining to give chase straight into one of your pre-laid traps.

And while I didnt play it an awful lot, The multiplayer (and especially the map editor) on Xbox was fantastic.

Best thing is, From info I've received so far, Far Cry 2, looks set to be one of this months best games, even above Saints Row 2, Dead Space and maybe Fallout 3
(((no mention for LBp because everyone who's anyone (who plays online and has a creative side) will get thta regardles sof its fantastic reviews

I'm still not 100% sure on LBP (OMG, I know!) but while I think it may be fun to play and create stuff and levels, I think I may get a little bored of it after a few weeks. Also with so many games coming out that I know I will enjoy playing, I feel I may give this a miss until I can have a play on it (rent/borrow/demo?).

What with having bills and a mortgage to pay and with xmas coming up, I need to be selective with the games I want.

I've been reading up on this, and OMG, I am definately getting it! There seems like it is going to have a really good single player campaign. Love the realism to it; starting firs if you blow stuff up, physical injuries, guns jamming, complete open play, do what the hell you want how you want.

Then there's multiplayer mode. The Uprising mode sounds cool. It's a capture the flag mode except only 1, yes 1, member can capture flags, so the rest of the team basically have to look after him. Should make for some really good team play.......hopefully

Also the map editor looks so easy to use it's rediculous.

Just can't wait for next Friday!

I'll deff be getting it, and playing it alot,
I'll just have to work a good way of mixing it with Fifa, although map editing, and offline can be played all day
