To begin with the squad is open to entries, So anybody can join as long as they're going to be both on here and Fifa 09 fairly often.

In Time a "Waiting List" will be compiled and when/if members are removed the member will be offered a position in the squad.

don't Worry though, it may not be a big wait,
While we try to remain light on rules, sadly with a 50 player limit, innactive players will be removed (Unless they have at least half a reason)

Hey, I'd like to be considered for joining the Chelsea Squad (Chelsea season ticket holder myself for 10 years...member before that.). Can play wherever you want me to, midfield usually but can cover defence if needed.
I'll be on quite often, this week I have some important work to do till friday...but then i'm fine.

At the moment all first ten places are taken, so you will be classed as a sub, but threat not, we normally only get 5-7 people on at one time so you will get plenty of game time!

Get youself active on this website too, plenty of discussions have been started and if you have any ideas for the squad or any tips thenpost them in the relevant forums.

Oh btw, i'm Adam (psn - adwan) and i'm a Co-Manager, GodfatherObie is the main manager, he started the team.

You can add me on your PS3 and either myself or GodfatherObie will send you and invite to the squad. Will probably be me this evening, as Obie is busy tonight. Accept the invite and join the team! Add everyone from the squad to your friends list so you know when everyone's online.

Yup, Welcome to the Squad MMT,

A few of the original 1st team squad are barely online, and I think a few havnt even played with us yet.

In time these people will be filtered out to create more space for those that do want to play.
As if we where to have more than 10 on at any time, it is the people who are on most reguarly who will get the places,
purely because the more we play together the better we play together.

So those that might only play for an hour a week etc, may have to rely on subs places more so than others.

In Midfield Theres 3 spots open, But we'll send you an invite to the squad, and you can get some games with us.

Over time we will be selecting our best 10, which will be our main 10 players, the most dedicated guys on fifa and here, and obviously they need ot be damn good in there position.

Even if some wer'nt to make that top 10 there'd still be plenty of scope for games
It would simply mean that if one of those 10 where online it would be those guys who would play in ther echosen position and the remaining players would fill gaps left.

Currently there's about 30 players jostling for position so with 7 spaces remaining its pretty tight,

All I can say to yourself, our current squad or any new recruits, is if you are dedicated to the game, dedicated to our squad and a good player,

chances are you will get in.

((its just the easiest way to filter out those who cant spare a few minutes a day for our website, or cant commit to playing reguarly online

Now as to a place on the squad, let me see, yeah i'm sure we have space!

You will need to add adwan(me), GodfatherObie and RobPritch to your PSN friends list with a message saying you want to join the Chelsea Squad. One of us will then send you an invite to join the squad, accept the invite and when any of the other team members are online and in the dressing room you can join us for some games.

Whenever a manager is online, they will get everyone into the dressing room for matches, and will send everyone a message via the XMB.

Hi guys! I'm a Chelsea fan and I would like to join Chelsea Squad. I prefer playing in either the left or right wing/midfield, especially with Florent Malouda, Solomon Kalou or Deco. If playing in the wings/midfield is not possible then I don't mind playing with Bosingwa as a Right Back as long as you give me some freedom to move up the field when attacking. Since you've already messaged GodfatherObie on PSN, I'll leave it with him to sort out your invite to the squad.

We are in the process of looking at the team, and who will play in what position. I can see from your post that you enjoy attacking, but keep in mind that if you do get a defenders place, or even the midfield, that defending is very important. Support your team mates and they'll support you!

Hi! I would like to join the Chelsea Squad. I'm of course a Chelsea fan myself, and I usually play with the team in 1v1. I'm good on the central midfield or at the full backs, but I can play any position. I've only played 14 matches online so far (11 won, 3 lost), but I'm experienced with other game modes and earlier FIFA releases. My nick ingame is Jinstarro.
